OUR STORY
Established in 2007, the company specializes in concrete production in Sofia, Plovdiv, and the surrounding regions, as well as in the extraction and delivery of aggregates for small and large-scale construction projects. It produces over 800,000 m³ of concrete and over 1,500,000 tons of aggregates annually.
The company exercises complete control over the production process – from the extraction and processing of aggregates, through the production of concrete, to the transport and delivery of construction materials to the customer. This ensures fast, reliable, and high-quality service.
ATMIX Ltd. began operations in the autumn of 2007 with its first production facility in the Chelopechene district of Sofia. With a capacity of 90 m³/hour, five concrete mixers, and one concrete pump, the company laid the foundation for sustainable growth in the field of concrete production and supply. By 2010, ATMIX had established its position in the market, expanded its vehicle fleet, and reached a total production of 376,000 m³ of concrete mixes.
BEGINNINGS IN SOFIA
ATMIX Ltd. began operations in the autumn of 2007 with its first production facility in the Chelopechene district of Sofia. With a capacity of 90 m³/hour, five concrete mixers, and one concrete pump, the company laid the foundation for sustainable growth in the field of concrete production and supply. By 2010, ATMIX had established its position in the market, expanded its vehicle fleet, and reached a total production of 376,000 m³ of concrete mixes.
During this period, ATMIX opened two additional production bases – in the Iliyantsi and Studentski Grad districts – effectively doubling its production capacity. The company was selected as the main concrete supplier for the construction of Paradise Center, one of the largest commercial projects in Sofia.

In 2013, ATMIX Ltd. built a concrete plant in Devnya, after being selected as the exclusive supplier for the modernization of the Devnya Cement plant. In partnership with companies such as CBMI (China), GBS Varna, Geotechmin, Comfort, and the Italcementi Group, ATMIX implemented an innovative project using sliding formwork – over two weeks of continuous vertical concreting for a cooling tower. During the same period, the company commissioned a silo complex at Iskar Station with a capacity of 800 tons and the ability to deliver cement by rail – a unique logistical innovation for Bulgaria.
NEW REGIONS AND INNOVATIONS
In 2013, ATMIX Ltd. built a concrete plant in Devnya, after being selected as the exclusive supplier for the modernization of the Devnya Cement plant. In partnership with companies such as CBMI (China), GBS Varna, Geotechmin, Comfort, and the Italcementi Group, ATMIX implemented an innovative project using sliding formwork – over two weeks of continuous vertical concreting for a cooling tower. During the same period, the company commissioned a silo complex at Iskar Station with a capacity of 800 tons and the ability to deliver cement by rail – a unique logistical innovation for Bulgaria.

In 2016, ATMIX Ltd. established a production base in the village of Mikrevo for the implementation of Lot 3.3 Kresna–Sandanski, part of the Struma Motorway project. At the same time, a crushing and screening plant with a capacity of 170 t/h began operating at the Studena Quarry, allowing the company to control the entire production chain – from the extraction of aggregates to the delivery of concrete.
By 2018, ATMIX operated three active bases in Sofia, maintained a fleet of over 50 vehicles, and owned its own quarry. The company was selected as the supplier of standard and shotcrete concrete for the strategic Zheleznitsa Tunnel on the Struma Motorway. Annual production reached 450,000 m³ of concrete and 800,000 tons of aggregates, and by the end of 2019, total production had exceeded 2.5 million m³ of concrete.
PARTICIPATION IN THE ZHELEZNITSA TUNNEL PROJECT
By 2018, ATMIX operated three active bases in Sofia, maintained a fleet of over 50 vehicles, and owned its own quarry. The company was selected as the supplier of standard and shotcrete concrete for the strategic Zheleznitsa Tunnel on the Struma Motorway. Annual production reached 450,000 m³ of concrete and 800,000 tons of aggregates, and by the end of 2019, total production had exceeded 2.5 million m³ of concrete.
In 2022, ATMIX Ltd. expanded its coverage in the capital with a new production base in Rezbarska and opened a facility in Plovdiv East – Industrial Zone, increasing its production capacity and improving logistics efficiency.

ATMIX opened two new facilities: Plovdiv West – Ring Road and Obelya, Sofia. The Obelya base became the only concrete manufacturer in Bulgaria specializing in the production of segments for tunnel boring machines (TBMs) used in the expansion of the Sofia Metro. This positioned ATMIX Ltd. as a high-tech partner for major infrastructure projects.
